Your third chakra is located in the solar plexus, halfway between the navel and the ribcage. This chakra houses self-direction, personal will-power, intention, physical energy, personal boundaries, protection, and self-control. This chakra, when healthy defines your self-esteem. It is your center of personal power. In the color spectrum, the third chakra vibrates energetically to the color yellow, like a solar disc.

The third chakra gives you courage to stick up for yourself, say “no” to the things that don’t serve you, to put up healthy personal boundaries, and remain strong in the face of challenge. When the third chakra is open and healthy you recognize what is important and meaningful in life and you make healthy choices without compromise or fear.
